CONSISTENT QUALITY We are able to offer consistent quality year-round. We provide a complex combination of 14-18 different baby leaves that are blended for taste daily. (Our competition blends only 8-10 different leaves). We currently grow 22 different items for salad production alone. This allows us to produce a premium blend on a daily basis.
CONSISTENT VOLUME We work extremely hard on our planting and harvesting schedules. We grow and ship out of three different locations, Salinas, CA, Huron, CA and Yuma, AZ, and we process out of our Salinas and Yuma locations. This enables us to ensure our customers consistent volume year-round. It has become a company policy that, "Once we've committed ourselves to the development of a new product or line of products, it is NOT OKAY for us to fall back!" Misionero is one of the leading largest supplier of 100% organic salads. Our organic products are grown exclusively in the United States.
SHELF LIFE We are constantly upgrading our packaging for better shelf life. Misionero uses the most sophisticated packaging available. We are currently using our fifth generation of film for our retail salads.
INNOVATION We offer a complete line of organic retail packaged items including spring mix, baby spinach, baby romaine mix, Asian mix, bagged arugula, Romaine Salad, Italian Mix and
Herb Salad! We also have year-round supplies of organic baby whole peeled carrots, organic romaine hearts and organic row crops such as romaine, green leaf, red leaf, butter lettuce,
and broccoli are available on a seasonal basis. All are packed naked or with UPC codes for easy scanning. We are constantly adding new items to our Earth Greens line.
STATE ACCREDITED LAB Misionero Vegetables operates their own state-of-the-art California State Certified Pesticide Residue and Food Safety Lab testing laboratory in its Salinas, California headquarters. This allows us to do our own pesticide, yeast, mold, generic E-coli, E-coli 0157:H7, Salmonella and Listeria testing, and is a large factor in why Misionero Vegetables was chosen by the largest foodservice distributors to be their exclusive supplier.
