Baby Red Oak RED OAK LEAF LETTUCE
An open-headed type with a
faintly nut-like flavor. Red-brown
in color, with a white stem. Use
in salads of all kinds.
Frisee FRISEE
Blanched leaves of finely curled endive. This leaf is slightly bitter, and is best used with citrus, nuts and cheeses.
Green Chard GREEN CHARD
Its young leaves are firm with a slight spinach-like flavor. It is especially good in warm or braised salads.
Mizuna MIZUNA
This leaf is a Japanesse green with a delicate, mild mustard taste. It is great for use in salads of all kinds.
Red RED BEET LEAF
This leaf has a sharp, faintly sour beet flavor. It is typically a dark red-brown color and is excellent in mixed salads of all kinds. It is especially good in warmed or braised salads.
Red Flowering Kale, Peacock RED PEACOCK FLOWERING KALE
